Disque ANS, the phone line of ANS (Brazil's National Supplementary Health Agency), resumed full operating hours on Monday, September 21, 2026.
Service hours
Since Monday, September 21, Disque ANS has been back to its normal hours: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., except on national holidays.
Why hours had been reduced
According to ANS, the restrictions on hours and call volume had been adopted due to budget constraints. They ended when the newly contracted company began providing the service.
What Disque ANS is for
Disque ANS (0800 701 9656) is the phone line of Brazil's National Supplementary Health Agency. Members can use it to ask about their rights and file complaints against their health plan operator.
Before contacting ANS, it is recommended to use the operator's own customer service channels and Ombudsman, providing the protocol number of the previous contact.
Other ANS channels
Besides the phone line, members can use the Fale Conosco online form on the ANS website, or book an in-person appointment at one of the ANS offices in Brazil's five regions.
